Driven Game Shoot

A fantastic day from start to finish the Hosts treated us like family. The drives and birds are superb the food and drink was top class, this shoot was recommended to me and it delivered way over from start to finish we can’t wait to go back and visit this seasonMr. Dave Pennington

I shoot regularly and I have shot all over the country and in my opinion Montreal is one of the finest shoots in the south of England. Despite only being 20 miles from the centre of London the topography is amazing; deep valleys, expansive woodlands and ponds provide outstanding drives. The estate owners and shoot team have worked hard over the last few years to improve the shooting and facilities every year. The hospitality and shoot lodge are amazing. A premier league shoot with hospitality to match. Amazing attention to detail in every aspect from the minute you get out of your car. Amazing elevenses in the field and great atmosphere in the gun bus. The pegs are clearly set out and all pegs seem to get their fair number of birds marshalled closely by the keeper on every drive. The shoot is set in amazing woodlands and a really unexpected find being so close and accessible to London. Plenty of top quality birds. Never had a bad day and always go home smiling.J. C.

The welcome and hosting was super friendly. The quality of the beaters, and all staff was excellent. I was even provided with a loader to help navigate around the shoot and support me, which was really generous and appreciated. Its obvious that the warm friendly atmosphere of everyone involved is one of the reasons that there are so many regular guns at this shoot - not to mention the quality and variety of the shooting and pegs.Mr. Tim Bonnet

We received a very warm welcome on arrival to the Montreal Shoot and the amazing hospitality started with Bacon rolls and hot drinks, the shoot briefing was detailed and clearly delivered. The standard of the initial greeting continued throughout the day, with 4 excellent drives, very well presented pheasants and the hospitality for the rest of the day was faultless. I would recommend the shoot to anyone, who is looking for a fun, relaxed day, with excellent drives and amazing hospitality.P. K.

From the moment we arrived at the new shooting lodge we were made to feel like we were on a family day. Hospitality was superb and matched the quality of the birds. A very relaxed day on a beautiful estate and with a little wind it would be a very challenging day with something for everyone. We hope to make a return visit next year if allowed! What a wonderful shoot. The food and hospitality of the hosts and staff was exceptional throughout, with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
